17 years as a Technical Electronics Fitter, Radio Technician, and Avionics Technician in the Indian Air Force gave C.P. Yadav one unshakeable standard: defence-grade reliability. In 1998, he brought that mindset to India's power sector. What followed were 25 years of engineering firsts — India's first online meter connectivity, the country's first dual-source energy meter, and smart metering now active in 1,22,700+ homes.

PES Electrical established in Faridabad — manufacturing electrical components, AVR and AMF relay systems.
2001–07
Engineering Innovation
Reduced AVR weight from 40kg to 200g. First customised AMF solutions in India. Indigenised 400Hz equipment for the Indian Air Force.
2008
First Online Meter Connectivity
PES achieves the first online connectivity of energy meters in India. Field testing of integrated hardware and software begins.
2012
Smart Meter Manufacturing Begins
EM-12 and EM-32 smart meters launch from our Faridabad plant. Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts introduced — many still active today.
2013
India's First Dual-Source Meter
PES invents the first dual-source energy meter in India — measuring Grid and DG power on a single device.
2014
Landmark Deployments
15,000+ smart meters at an integrated township in Ghaziabad. 760 meters at Lagos International Airport, Nigeria. 18-district telecom rollout across UP West.
